The Cribs - "Come On, Be a No One"
The Cribs are back! and this time they're better.
Yup thats right, i'm in the anti Johnny Marr camp. The band chemistry was ruined when Marr joined, they just went a bit soft... But, their latest single has restored my faith in the great, thrash, indie, punk band I used to know.

TRIBAL CULTURE RECOMMENDS: #2 Two Wounded Birds
From left to right: Joe Stevens; Ally Blackgrove; Johnny Danger; James Shand. |
I've been an avid listener of this Margate four piece for quite some time now, but it wasn't until this week that my love for them grew to obsessive levels.
For the first time on Tuesday night I got to witness Two Wounded Birds live at Relentless Garage, they like Es Muss Sein, were supporting Glasvegas at the "Lastfm Presents" show. Their set was aggressive, firey and on the whole better than Glasvegas's. Yes, thats probably an unpopular decision but I'll save that for the official Live Review (coming soon).
Watch out for Two Wounded Birds, they're releasing their self titled debut album this June (2012) for which Tracey Emin has designed the artwork.
For fans of: The Vaccines, The Drums and The Beach Boys.
